About Us

At UCC Basketball we are all really looking forward to jumping straight back into another year of action. We have teams suitable for everyone. For those more invested in Basketball there will be ‘A’ teams for both our lads and lassies. There definitely will be a “B” team for our girls but hopefully there will be enough for a lad’s one too! All teams train once a week in the Mardyke with matches starting off both home and away for our league teams in November. And not to be forgotten the Intervarsities will be one of our main events of the year where we complete against all other third level institutions to see who will be crowned varsity champions.

We hope to have enough time slots and numbers to allow for some recreational basketball.

All details on our try out times/training details will be posted on our calendar and sent out to our mailing list which you can sign up for online. The more of you reach out the better as we can set up more teams or look into other possible events etc. Looking forward to seeing you all soon for another fun year of basketball.
